Zenia Hotel

The staff here are absolutely fantastic, despite the language barrier, they will work their hardest to help you with whatever you need and will use a translator on their phone. Every single member of reception staff and every cleaner and person in the kitchen were the most kindest helpful people ever. The hotel itself doesn't look like it's in a fancy area, but don't be put off, it is extremely local to everything you need including a shop and supermarket within 30 seconds walk, you can book all of your excursions at an extremely cheap price from there hassle free, and you are a short walk to the big mall and local old town full of shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms were incredibly clean and cleaned very often, great air con , a very good shower, comfy bed, good size fridge always filled with water and fantastic balconies. There is also a huge market outside on a Friday which has amazing fruit, nuts, spices, vegtables and even clothes and bags. This place is such fantastic value for money and we would definitely come back. A special shout out to Suliman on reception who was so helpful and friendly :)

Pros (not in any particular orde): - Staff were very good. - Tea was free. Hot chocolate wasn't free, but they didn't say anything when we took some. When we realised that it might not be free we asked at reception, and cleared our accrued bill. They probably would have let it slide - but we have a conscience. - Breakfast was good - we enjoyed it (and you could request fried egg instead of boiled if you wanted) - Nice and peacful - Location is good with it being close to the city centre, and not too far from the bay (at least not for us). - We actually walked to the beach too, but probably will wait till the afternnoon next time. The beach further away from the city centre (not Mermerli). The beach had pebbles, so slippers are a good idea. - Family friendly. - No alcohol, and all halal food. - 24 hour reception cover. - Hotel is new and clean. Probably still learning, so I hope giving them a good score will ensure that they try to maintain (or improve) high levels of satisfaction. Cons: - Fridge door didn't fully open in one of our rooms. Perhaps change the hooks/hinges on the door so that it opens on the other side?

Location is good, about 300m from Muratpaşa tram station. Hotel has a lift. Reception is friendly. Room is basic and clean, & bed is comfortable. Breakfast is simple Turkish stuff, from 0800 to 1100hr. Free tea at the lobby anytime of day. 2 small bottles of mineral water provided daily. Air con is strong, good for summer. I can leave my luggage after check-out to explore the city. Note every Fri, the street below will be converted to a market selling fruits, veggies, nuts.

Lovely stylish design hotel in the city centre, literally a 2-3 min walk from the tram that goes to/from the Airport, very convenient. The quiet central street right across the mosque, 2 min from Mark Antalya shopping centre. Very clean, very nice. The reception staff was extremely positive and helpful, gave me extra breakfast when I arrived early and checked me in earlier. Good aircon, a nice balcony, a nice bathroom with a shower, and good wifi in rooms. Breakfasts are small, the first cup of coffee is free, and some vegetables and snacks are included, but you have to order and pay for hot food (omelettes, toasts, etc), but I only have coffee in the morning anyway, so it was not an issue for me. There is an elevator to access high floors, very useful when you have luggage. Highly recommended!

Very clean and stylish hotel. Breakfast is lovely and perfect holiday coming back to this hotel after each day out.
